Our Pork

Pasture-raised for amazing flavor

Our pigs are pastured on our farm in St. Francis, MN and are fed a vegetarian, hormone-free diet.

 

During the early fall months (when the pigs are getting close to market weight), they enjoy a steady diet of apples and acorns!

How does it work?

  • Place your order for either a whole or half pig. The order is accompanied by a refundable deposit.

 

  • Your pig will arrive on our farm in May.  During the summer and early fall months, your pig will live with its adopted family in our back pasture. We will feed the pigs a vegetarian, natural diet.

 

  • In early Fall, your pig will be sent for processing at a licensed butcher shop

 

  • You will be contacted by the butcher shop for the specifics of how you'd like your pig to be processed--you will pay the butcher shop directly for processing when you pick up your order

  • The per-pound charge will be due to Home Sweet Honey after your pig has been brought to the butcher (minus your deposit)

With WHOLE and HALF, you'll work directly with the butcher to craft your unique experience.

QUARTER pig boxes are assembled by Home Sweet Honey and include a variety of common pork cuts, such as bacon, sausage, ham, and chops.
