A whole cow ranges from about 400 lbs - 600 lbs of finished beef and involves two costs:
The FARMER PAYMENT--payable to Home Sweet Honey when you pick up your beef.  The approximate FARMER PAYMENT will be between $2000 - $3000.
The BUTCHER PAYMENT--payable to Petty Brothers Meats when you pick up your beef.  The approximate BUTCHER PAYMENT will be between $570 - $860.
 
This results in an approximate cost per take-home pound of only $6.43!
